We were indeed fortunate to have Joseph Nolan, Organist and Master of Choristers at St George’s Cathedral in Perth, Australia, to give this concert to us on our new digital organ. With a programme including Widor’s 5th Symphony and Noel Rawthorne’s Dance Suite, Joseph was able to demonstrate to us the full range of this remarkable organ, producing sounds that we didn’t think possible from what appears to be a small instrument! It was a fantastic evening.

As well as the hairs on the back of our head, the concert raised an excellent £589 for the work of St Mary’s. Thank you to Joseph Nolan and Regent Classic Organs for arranging the concert and to Lynn and Charles Baker, Jeanette and the Friends for the local organisation and refreshments.
