The annual St Nick’s Fayre on the 1st December was slightly less busy than last year but still greatly enjoyed by all who came. Jeanette and her team in the kitchen were kept busy with providing mulled wine and mince pies, teas, and lunches and Father Christmas had a steady stream of young visitors, many of whom had beautifully painted faces! Lucky dips, competitions and raffles all added to the fun, and there was plenty to browse and buy. Our thanks to all the stall holders who supported the event, and especially to Tracy, Jeanette, Andrew and their small team of organisers for all their hard work. We raised some £1500 for the life and work of the church, an excellent result in these austere times.
