Supporting the life and works of St, Mary's, Chalgrove

But the church is both a building and a living experience. For this to be available to us all, both now and into the future, the yearly running costs also have to be met. At present, these are just over £49,000 a year. The church community in Chalgrove is responsible for raising this money as we receive no Central Government or National Church funds to cover these essential costs, which rise year by year. Knowing this, we hope that you will agree that it is unrealistic to expect such costs to be born almost entirely by a small number of regular givers. This is why we are inviting you, and all those who value the church and its beautiful surroundings in any way at all, to become a Friend of St. Mary's, Chalgrove. As a Friend, we will keep you in touch with all the activities of the Church by way of a regular newsletter. We will also look forward to welcoming you to occasional social gatherings throughout the year.

If you already give regular financial support to St Mary's, Chalgrove by using the envelope scheme or by direct debit, please let us know as we would like to include you in the Friends' scheme automatically without further subscription.
