Heritage Open Days are organised by the National Trust and take place at venues across the country. St Mary’s is taking part in this event on Saturday 9th September and Sunday 10th September.

Opening times are: Saturday 9th September 10 am to 1pm and 4pm to 5pm

Sunday 10th September 11.30am to 4pm

Tours of St Mary’s internationally important scheme of medieval wall paintings will be available, and also of other historically important items in the church.
i-Touch hand-held guides are available free of charge, and an app can be downloaded to your mobile phone.
There is a specially developed guide for those with sight loss, using swell paper images coupled to audio descriptions via PenFriend devices.
