Sharing Life Trust (SLT) based in Thame, runs a foodbank which covers a large area including the parish of Chalgrove. As the area is rural, many clients are unable to visit the foodbank. Instead, SLT deliver food parcels to each household. However, due to the cost of living crisis, demand for SLT’s assistance is ever-increasing.
St Mary’s Chalgrove has chosen to be a local partner for SLT, assisting them with local storage and distribution of food parcels.
This year, for our Christmas Appeal, we are seeking to raise £750 to support this local work. Collections will be made, as usual, at our village carol service. Please give generously. Any additional funds raised will be distributed between local groups and causes.
