United Society Partners in the Gospel (USPG) Information Evening
Tuesday, 3rd December 7pm
For several years, St Mary’s has supported the work of this charity, which both administers emergency relief and Christian mission in various parts of the world. At the information evening on 3rd December we discussed the various ways in which USPG help local communities to overcome problems and help themselves to improve their lives. We watched some short videos from the USPG website and reflected on how we might support this work.
The evening was followed by the visit on Sunday 8th December by Elizabeth Taylor, a Licensed Lay Minister, and representative of USPG who preached with the aid of a PowerPoint display about the work of USPG.
It is hoped that we will be able to run one of the USPG courses in Lent.
