1st Sunday:

9.30am       Holy Communion (Common Worship)
A sung modern-language Eucharist using Common Worship, with hymns, an easy to sing seasonal setting, and a sermon.

2nd Sunday:

9.30am        Holy Communion (Methodist Worship Book)
A Methodist Communion Service according to the Methodist Worship Book, with hymns and sermon, celebrated at the Nave Arch by Revd Stephen Spain or another minister from the Oxford Methodist Circuit.

3rd Sunday:

8.00am       Holy Communion (BCP1662)
A said Eucharist using traditional language held in the St Mary’s Chancel using the 1662 Prayerbook.

10.30am     Messy Church
A simple, interactive service, with themed craft activities, active songs, simple prayers, and generous refreshments at the end. People of all ages welcome. (Click here for more information).

4th Sunday:

9.30am       Holy Communion (Common Worship): Choir
A sung modern-language Eucharist using Common Worship, with hymns, an easy to sing seasonal setting, and a sermon. Usually accompanied by the Choir (if available).

5th Sunday:

9.30am       Holy Communion (Common Worship)
A sung modern-language Eucharist using Common Worship, with hymns, an easy to sing seasonal setting, and a sermon.

Midweek Services

Wednesdays:

11.00am       Holy Communion (BCP1662)
A said Eucharist using traditional language held in the North Aisle Chapel using the 1662 Prayerbook. We commemorate those faithful departed whose ‘year’s mind’ falls in the present month. Anointing for healing is given to those who wish for it on the first Wednesday of the month. A homily is usually given.

Special Services

In addition to this, we also do:

A quarterly Choral Evensong, which alternates between St Mary’s Chalgrove (last Sunday January & July) and St Helen’s Berrick Salome (last Sunday April & October)

Special services for holy days, festivals, and major Christian feasts

Civic services for Remembrance and major events in the life of the nation
