The churchyard is in regular use by those who come to remember their loved ones, as well as those who seek some peace and quiet. Our Millennium Yew tree, planted as a sapling in 2000, is in the centre of the ‘new’ churchyard. In the old churchyard around the church building a number of gravestones face south instead of eastwards as is customary.
The Church of England Benefice of Chalgrove with Berrick Salome is in the Aston & Cuddesdon Deanery of the Diocese of Oxford.
